I was in the uncomfortable situation to need to leave and rent my apartment for only two years for urgent family reason outside the country. In addition, it was interesting for me if the future tenant was willing to keep the furniture, so that I did not need to move away and back again for my return in two years. Within one single week Tiga found a lovely tenant matching the situation and could present her to the Board of the Building under extreme short notice. Although, I was not in town, our communication has been extremely responsive and immediate. Altogether, the deal was done under less than 3 weeks. I am on the Board of my building and in fact, the President of the Board suggested that we all use Tiga for our search for fine tenants. Hi Tiga! Just writing to let you know that today me and Daniela have successfully moved into our new apartment. It looks amazing, exactly what we have been looking for. I showed it to my friends, who helped me carry my things from Queens to the new place, and they really liked it! Good location, 3 minutes away from Subway A train, very secure building (cameras in the lobby and outside), laundry in the basement, plus, after all, it is a one-bedroom apartment with living room separate (!) from kitchen and there are 3 (!) walk-in closets. For our budget we consider it as a really good deal and we have you to thank for it! Thank you A LOT! We also realize that our situation was really difficult and unique for you to deal with. We are both new to NYC: I am Russian coming from London, applying for Green Card and waiting for a work permit, Daniela is a graduate student at Fordham coming from Florida, both have family as the main source of income and almost zero credit history. All in all, a very difficult scenario for the broker agent in relation to dealing with the landlords and finding the right apartment. Daniela and I are really grateful for your help in looking for an apartment for us, as well as for giving various tips on how to deal with different situations in New York in general. Besides, given our previous bad experience with Bond and their shady way of doing business, we really appreciated your advice on how to get the deposit back from them quickly and without having to go to court. I also understand that as the result of this bad ‘Bond experience’ we looked very anxious and not trustful while communicating with Citi Habitats and you.
